Water quality is absolutely terrible and it's mostly close outs, but hey if you live in Santa Monica and don't have time to get in your car, go for it. Bay Street
Northstar is a sick mountain despite the huge ticket price increase and that they are adding a Ritz at mid-mountain. Tough to stomach the changes though... Northstar
Overall great mountain with super challenging conditions. More of a skier mountain than others in North Tahoe, but that makes sense given it was the last one in Tahoe to allow snowboarding (I won't hold that against Alpine!). Alpine Meadows
Not great at all for free riders, but sick park and pipe that also offers night snowboarding. Not uncommon to see guys stomping 720's in the park. Some great riders at Boreal! Boreal
