General Overview
Kicking Horse is situated in the picturesque Canadian Rockies between Glacier National and Yoho Parks. It is the newest Canadian Resort and opened in 2000. The mountain itself has the 2nd longest vertical in Canada and more than enough challenging terrain. They are known for their good snowfalls and a stripped down alpine experience.
The base village is still developing and is a bit light on attractions. Golden is about 10 minutes away.
