General Overview
Tignes's high altitude and impressive Grande Motte Glacier make this a year round snow boarding destination. Unlike some of the other mountains in the region the summertime experience here is more than just a bunny hill with over 1,000 foot vertical in the summer.
Tignes combined with Val d'Isère create the Espace Killy region, a very large and varied ski area.
