One of the last non-corporate mountains in Tahoe. Not as big as Squaw and doesn't have the name, locals know Homewood especially during big storms. Very well protected from the wind and when the top of Squaw is shut down and Summit Six at Alpine is closed, Homewood is 100% open. Being at lake level, it needs a colder storm to snow, but when it dumps, it has some insane tree runs.Pankatilius
