I lived in steamboat for a couple of years - it's a cool, chill town, but a little slow. The mountain is known for it's dry light powder, and it's aspen trees, which makes for some really fun tree runs. It's a great mountain for intermediate riders who are looking to try out some powder and trees. I wouldn't go there if you like steep terrain, it's rather flat. Also, they don't put much of an effort into their park.
