Claiming the highest base elevation in the Lake Tahoe area and closest proximity to Reno, Mt. Rose boasts of uncrowded runs and excellent terrain. Riders of all levels come for great powder snow, even through late spring. Advanced riders go for the Chutes. Tips: Great even on rainy days due to the resort's high elevation.
Pretty sick mountain that has a great base. The park is killer and the added bonus is that it's close to Reno, so you can gamble all you want and then hit the slopes during the day... snowboardtraveler
