General Overview
White Face Mountain Resort, located just 9 miles from Lake Placid, hosted the 1980 Olympics as well as the Goodwill Games in 2000. It is one of the more challenging mountains in the East, but is still a good call for beginner and intermediate riders. They've recently upgraded their snow guns and now provide great snow making coverage.
