Selkirk-Tangiers Heliskiing’s ski area is located in the Interior Mountains of British Columbia and can be described as the heart of heli-skiing. They ski in two major mountain ranges, the Monashees to the west and the Selkirks to the east of Revelstoke. Both mountain ranges are noted for reliable powder snow conditions and great terrain. They have established over 200 major runs with countless variations and it is not uncommon to explore new runs.

In marginal and bad weather, the helicopters are prevented access to the open alpine terrain above tree line due to poor visibility, but there is plenty of riding to be had in the trees. Also, it is safer to ride tree runs during storm cycles due to the increased hazards. Some of the greatest riding takes place in the forest. The snow is generally superb all the way to the valley floor and normally not affected by the wind.
