Canto das Aranahs, located in Florianopolis at the North end of Praia Mocambique, is a great option when the Northeast wind is blowing as it’s sheltered by a rocky cove. Depending on the swell direction , Canto das Aranhas can produce a very nice left, but also has a nice right as well. There is no infrastructure on the beach, so bring food, water, and any other supplies. You can access the beach by the Rio Vermelho road.
