General Overview
Caldeirão, located toward the southern end of the island of Florianopolis, almost always has some surfable waves. Even when other areas nearby are flat, Caldeirão can surprise you with waves up to 6 feet. On bigger days, it can be a tough paddle out. Caldeirão was one of the venues of the WCT Brazil in 2003.
