General Overview

Solidão beach is 2nd southern most surfing beach on the island of Florianopolis. It needs a south swell to break is best with a north or west wind. It’s a nice beach break with a solid right.

Located only 6 kms from Armação beach, Solidão has fine sand and a wide beach, and is the perfect place to hang out after your surf session. There are some great seafood restaurants on the beach and you should check out the waterfall which is only a 15 minute walk from the beach. To access Solidão beach, follow the road from Praia dos Açores and ask a local to get exact directions.
