General Overview

Prainha (Little beach) is a deserted beach adjacent to Guarda do Embaú. It can easily be accessed by hiking 30 minutes over the left head of the beach. A south swell produces a long right near the rocks, but there are other peaks (left and right) in the middle of the beach. If the south wind is blowing, it’s your best bet in the area. Prainha is a peaceful beach with no infrastrucure, so don’t forget to bring food, water, and sunscreen (especially the gringos!).

Great shape, but unfortunately not much swell. The waves are about 1-2 feet....
