General Overview
Grande is a great spot for learning how to surf or for someone just out for a good morning session. There are numerous peaks and you shouldn't have a problem finding one to yourself unless it's small. The beach catches surf all year but try to get a southwest in the summer. This is one of the main breaks in the area around Tamarindo, which is visible across the bay.
