General Overview
Rosarito is known more for its clubs (Papa's and Beer, Senior Frogs, etc.) than its surf. The beach breaks tend to close out above 5 feet. And guess how the water is? It’s polluted and bad. As far as Baja goes, it's still a pretty Americanized location. You can still use your American money at most places and chances are you'll be among many San Diego college students who are in Baja for a long weekend. Your best bet is to drive a bit further south.
