Puerto Escondido (Mexican Pipe) is an amazing wave plain and simple. Anyone who has seen 15+ feet footage of it breaking can respect it as one of the best beach breaks known to man. Bring a ski and a tow board if you’re planning on hitting this with a huge swell. On smaller (big) days you can manage with a gun. As of 2007, the X games has moved its surfing competition here. The Left is where the wave cleans up but there are rights as well that are sure to amaze.
