General Overview
Caspar Creek is a beach break located at the end of creek and is therefore best after a rain when sandbars are formed. This runs in stark contrast to breaks in urban areas which make you feel as if you are rotting after a big rain. Due to its location in a large cove, Caspar Creek is protected from the wind, but also only breaks on a West swell. This is a beginner and longboarder favorite due to the slow peeling wave that breaks in the cove.
