General Overview
One of the most impressive backdrops of any surf spot around, Fort Point is a hairy left point full of rocks and territorial locals that breaks underneath the Golden Gate Bridge. Seeing people in the water with helmets on is the norm here. Needless to say this is not a beginner spot.
I live here! Fort Point is a sketch wave if you don't know what you are doing. Pretty bad localism too, but its a fun place to work on lefts. sfsurfer415
