Any spot between the pier and Rosecrans is decent on most days. There's a good mix of surfers and bodyboarders, and like Porto, can get crowded on stand-out days. Can get huge (mostly walled up) during the winter!blumatrix If you live in the area, surfing at the MB pier or any of the avenues offers some good surf. The problem, as with most LA beach breaks, is that it tends to close out with any size.Pankatilius
