During summer Tumbo Land is one of the West side best lefts, working well on a west or southwest swell over a shallow reef. When it’s on it’s very crowded with many local body boarders. Be ready for drop-ins but be cool, show respect. On the right day it connects from a Hospitals take-off through Tumbo Land down to Slippery Rock for some long, hollow, fast and slippery fun.
