General Overview
Assateague is a wildlife preserve that is famous for its pristine sand dune beaches and herds of wild ponies. Even though this spot is pretty far south from Ocean Beach and is a protected area, it still attracts a crowd during the summer months. It's generally a slow wave that gets dumpy by the shore, although it does have its days on bigger swells when the sandbars are right. Secret Spot Policy
