New Hampshire//
New Hampshire has the smallest coastline of all the coastal states with a mere 13 miles of ocean frontage. Packed into that short strip is an abundance of opportunity for the hardy surfer willing to face the harsh New England elements. There are many choices of picturesque point breaks, reefs and beach breaks that are open to catch those solid nor’easters and when they hit it doesn’t get any better on the east coast. The local surf scene is rapidly growing in popularity and in the numbers of surfers hitting the surf. Make sure to bring the necessary equipment to protect against hypothermia, a danger even during the summer and remember the state motto “Live free or die”.
