At first Point Judith looks like a classic point break but it rarely connects into a long ride. Instead there are several separate breaks spread over a large area. Its cold water with rocky bottom and rocky beach and the rarity of ridable waves makes its local crew other then friendly and open to outsiders. Being the main surf spot for Rhode Island’s south county makes the summer line-ups crowded and sometimes ugly.
